Mana Cost: Here you will reference the legend to the left. When declaring a mana cost it is necessary to separate each symbol with a ':' (colon). Here are some examples for you to test out
B:W:1
RG:G:R
U:W:5
2W:BU:PU
BR:RB:1

Rule: When you need to reference any of the symbols they are going to have to be encapsulated in {}. When declaring a rule it is necesary to put a space in between all symbols and words. The exception is when declaring a newline/new Rule. To do this the rule parsing has a special character referenced as {n}. So when writing a set of rules it is necessary to put {n} between each rule. Here are some examples:
{T} : Deal 3 damage to any one source.{n}{B} {B} , {T} : Scry 2 (Look at the top two cards of your library. Put any number of them on the bottom of your library and the rest on top in any order.)
Whenever you play a land you may add {1} to your mana pool.{n}Sacrifice a creature: Add {BR} to your mana pool.
Haste, Trample.{n}{G} , {T} : Target creature gets +3/+3 until end of turn.
